Tour price for a season of 2008: From 1100 Euro, including helicopter flight. *The price for bigger group is more expensive, as for the group up to 6 clients it is possible to rent a small local plane what is much cheaper than helicopter.

Includedfull package of services from Kyzyl to Kyzyl – accommodation in the hotel according to the program, meals three times daily, transportation, rental local plane or helicopter to the place of start of rafting, rental catarafts (each for 4 people – 3 clients and a guide), double tents, camping and kitchen equipment, guiding services (one guide per 3 clients on every cataraft), services of an English- or German-speaking interpreter, cook.
Price does not includevisa support, Moscow program, international and domestic airfares, insurance, alcohol, items of personal nature (if necessary, we will gladly assist you with booking airline tickets, organize Moscow program, visa support, etc.).
RouteAccess: Domestic flight Moscow – Kyzyl (4,5 hrs), then local flight (if available) or rent helicopter to Ush-Beldyr settlement, where the rafting starts. * Note: Flights from Moscow to Kyzyl depart once per week. Another options are: take a flight Moscow-Krasnoyarsk (about 3,5 hrs) and then local flight from Krasnoyarsk to Kyzyl. flight Moscow – Abakan (about 4 hrs), then bus transfer to Kyzyl (about 5 hrs). Distance of the rafting route on the Kyzyl-Khem river: 250 km, Class of rapids: III with some elements of IV (for catarafts).

Day 1: Arrive in Kyzyl, a capital of Tuva Republic. Visit to the Monument ''The Center of Asia'', excursion to the Museum of Natural History and Ethnography, and the Buddhist temple. Overnight in the hotel or in a comfortable yurt camping with facilities (warm water, biotoilets, shower) on the bank of the Yenissey river. (* Yurts are traditional dwellings of the Tuvans). Attend to the shaman’s ritual. Taste traditional Tuvan food. Riding camels or horses is possible at additional fee.

Day 2: Flight by plane AN-2 or helicopter to the village of Ush-Bel’dyr, located at the boundary between Mongolia and Tuva (about 1,4 hrs). Assemble catarafts. Overnight in a tented camp.

Days 3-13: Slow rafting with fishing. Overnights in tented camps. Field version of a banya (Russian steam bath) is organized regularly.

Day 14: Arrive in the village of Saryg-Sep, car transfer to Kyzyl (about 1,5 – 2 hrs). Farewell dinner. Overnight in the hotel. *Note: a concert of Tuvan throat-singing can be organized this day at additional fee.

Day 15: Transfer to the Abakan airport, departure to Moscow.

Notes

Possible additional expences:

special license for those who would like to fish Taimen (the license is not required for the lenok and Siberian grayling).

Those who due to some reasons will arrive from Moscow to Abakan, will have to cover additional costs of the transfer Abakan-Kyzyl and back.

The medical insurance can be provided on the basis of the separate agreement concluded at your request.

Under favorable weather conditions, the helicopter flight to Ush-Bel’dyr can be organized in a day when the group arrives to Kyzyl by the flight from Moscow.

In case of improper weather conditions, delays of helicopter flights are possible. For this case, the program includes several reserved days.

In summer season, a vaccination against tick encephalitis is recommended, though the probability of an encounter with a tick is extremely low in this region.

Those visitor who have special dietary requirements should notify us about that not later than 10 days prior to the trip.

According to your wish, the changes can be made in this tour program. On the basis of this route, a sportive hiking and rafting program of V category of difficulty can be organized. For this purpose, a rafting down the tributary of Kyzyl-Khem, the river Belin, is added to this route. Its mouth is located near the village of Ush-Bel’dyr.
